In this episode, Franky explores the music from a teen slasher mystery about a car accident one summer ago. Misa delves into the score of a ~sequel~ that she loves very dearly. Hint? She talked about part 1 during last year’s Spooky Season… *Both* of the films discussed today were released in 1997. Ahh, simpler times. Let us take you back for a bit! Nothing interesting happening in 2020 anyway… :) GO VOTE!

Black Lives Matter. Black. Lives. Matter. BLACK LIVES MATTER. No matter how we say it, it will always be true. We at Soundtrack City stand with the movement and we are doing our part to fight back with you. In this episode, Misa and Franky each chose movies directed by and featuring black figures in film. Misa covers the soundtrack to Creed, a new story in the Rocky Balboa universe about Apollo Creed's son aspiring to make a name for himself. Franky's choice is from within the Marvel Cinematic Universe - Black Panther, a story about a king who must do right by his country and take down those with ill intentions. We hope these movies and soundtracks can serve as an uplifting outlet and may it encourage you to fight for good and justice.
